A workbench for the sky

Sky Workbench is for people who would rather build the thing than read about it. Every post is meant to be reproducible: what the goal was, what it took, what happened, and the files to try it yourself.

How posts are structured

Each post is a numbered entry in the logbook (No. 1, No. 2, …) in the order it was published. It opens with a project card: the goal, difficulty, time, cost and a bill of materials. Then comes the build or the analysis itself, including what went wrong, and links to the files and code so you can repeat it.

Red mode

The Red light button in the header turns the whole site red so you can read it at the eyepiece without wrecking your night vision.
